I have always enjoyed candles. One of the problems I used to run into was buying an expensive candle and having it not smell or only smell when it was first burned. They would leave dark soot on my walls and ceiling. So for all of the money spent on candles, I decided to try making my own. Now, I'm an addict.
Soy is considered a "clean burning" wax. It is virtually smoke and soot free if burned properly. Wicks should be kept trimmed short and the candles should not be burned for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent soot. It also sounds obvious, but NEVER leave any candle burning unattended. If you light it, stay with it.
Whether you just love the feel of flickering candle light or use candles for spiritual and meditation purposes, you will love my candles.
There are a a lot of claims going around today about what is natural and what is not. My natural soaps are made with all natural ingredients and made using the cold-process method, are safe for the environment and for your skin.
Nearly natural means that I use mostly ingredients that are natual or alcohol and detergent free glycerin and have added fragrance oil or dye for color. The dyes I use are skin safe and will not harm the environment. I try to use micas instead of dyes when possible.
I make no claims that any ingredient heals or what it's cosmetic claims are. If you are interesed in the medicinal quality of the herbs there are a lot of great resources out there. I recommend you check them out!

Incense has long been used by many cultures and religions. Used for meditation, worship or just for the enjoyment of scent in your home. Now incense comes in many different scents. I use no dyes in my incense sticks so they are all the same color. They are all hand-dipped.
